I really like Guile Scheme and would like to use it to build a SAAS webshit product by it. I would do this in my free time and I don't want to use some enterprise grade bullshit in my spare time as well. If this endeavour doesn't fail, do you think using obscure tech for basically CRUD backend is a big obstacle for future?

I don't see things getting more lean in the future only more bloated. Now personal projects I don't think it's a terrible idea, especially since you might learn a thing or two doing it that way. I can only agree with this and it makes me sad as an engineer. Most of the times I am just playing with Legos which results in having very superficial understanding of the very thing I am building. The worst in this regard is IMO Android development.
