I don't like "Gushing over Magical Girls" because it focuses too much on sadism and not enough on masochism. I still try to project into the characters being tortured though.
The last episode (ep 5) of Gushing over magical girls was shit. It completely lost the few positive aspects it had going for it. Hopefully this weeks episode (ep 6) is better (It probably won't be). The loli character is super annoying because she has almost unlimited power to make the characters do whatever she wants. The fact she falls asleep (thereby limiting her power) actually makes it worse because that means the author has an excuse to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, with whomever he wants. The tres magia could be losing to the loli, and then start winning all of a sudden simply because the loli fell asleep. It completely ruins all tension. It's also really annoying that the loli character doesn't speak at all. One of the worst characters ever.
