What are you programming or wanting to program? I often have a hard time on where to start. Do you have this problem?
>>fprog-021AG738 (OP) I have never programed a thing I want to program a concatenative text to speech program in lisp/scheme inspired by http://xelf.me/scheme-mosaic.html
>>fprog-021AG738 (OP) Mass spectrometry data analysis software. Speaking of programming, I still can't figure out how to enter a thread without either posting or clicking on a post link and opening in a new tab. Is there a secret way or is there really no 4chan-style reply button?
>>fprog-G0A451E8 click No. next to the post/thread you want to view.
>>fb-CCEF5813 → Evernote >>fprog-G0A451E8 OpenMS
>>fprog-MS0JZE10 OpenMS is garbage, PeaksDB, MS-GF+ and IdentiPy are more sane. Mine was originally based on IdentiPy and greatly improves state of the art (to the point the reviewers believed my results must come from some mistakes somewhere, though they couldn't find anything wrong), although I'm rewriting it because the mix of technology is kinda shit due to intel MKL being a buggy piece of garbage that has been leaking memory so much it can't be used at all since at least 2018 and the other components not working in multithreaded contexts. Plus, IdentiPy is python2-only.
>>fprog-G035CAF5 Gay as fuck but thanks.
>>fprog-MS0JZE10 Is there no joy in making your own interpretation of a program?
i want to make a curses TCG which has some form of meme blockchain to keep track of card rarity and ownership of cards. challenging opponents through a network
>>fprog-T62PQHNG Sounds rather easy, and also fun. Ignore the curses for now, interfaces can just be built on top of a sane backend. Rather that putting it on top of an existing blockchain product, you could modify one of them to make tokens equal cards, or via a token system. Might even be fun to make the system generic enough that other people can build their own card system on top of it just by modifying a few configuration files.
>>fprog-MS0JZE10 Evernote is proprietary software so I won't use it
>>fprog-021AG738 (OP) 3D rendering for my game or something
