>What is I2P? It's a mixnet like TOR >I like TOR, why should I care? I2P is better designed than TOR. Every user is also a router. >Where can I learn more? https://geti2p.net/en/ >How can I install it? https://i2pd.website/ For Linux users (Debian) this is just: apt install i2pd systemctl start i2pd then setup FF to proxy to the daemon >What can I do on I2P? I don't know, that is why I'm posting here
>>fps-VL5HJRBP (OP) So fedinons please give links to some cool eepsites
>>fps-VL5HJRBP (OP) >Every user is also a router so every user can get v& for distributing illegal content
>>fps-3PQMOZC3 The packets that you route are encrypted and contain sub packets bound to multiple different routers. These sub packets are of uniform size and they are encrypted multiple times, they stay at minimum of 1 layer of encrypted until recived by the intended recipiant. Routers extract sub packets and randomly assign them to new packets that are sent forward. This makes is hard to trace a packet and packet inspection is practically impossible thanks to the layers of encryption. A user acting as a router can't know what they are routing so censorship is close to impossible. I'd say that i2p's routing might be more defensible in court than freenet's file distribution. But considering that that aspect of freenet is already "court proof", worrying about i2p's mixnet routing is dumb.
>>fps-3PQMOZC3 >distributing illegal content Why do you have a problem with that?
