What I hate about long running anime is that when you search for AMVs of them, they always have clips from the shit new versions of the anime. Ace wo Nerae 2 sucked so much ass, but I can only find AMVs of ace wo nerae 2 and not any of the original. https://yewtu.be/watch?v=h4WOMqqEKdA All of this is nu-ace wo nerae shit. Eric S Raymond is a nigger. Nobody has done more damage to the free software community than him. > Recently it has become evident that hacking [professional laziness] blends well with the “agile programming” [nigger voodo] style. Agile techniques [Nigger voodoo] such as pair programming [demoralizing forced cooperation] and feature stories [pointless busy work] adapt readily to hacking [professional laziness] and vice-versa. In part this is because the early thought leaders of agile were influenced by the open source [abrahamic plot to destroy free software] community. But there has since been traffic in the other direction as well, with open-source projects increasingly adopting techniques such as test-driven development [waving the dead chicken]. https://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/hacking-howto.html Brackets are mine. Raymond also niggerfied the Jargon file by adding unix retardation into it.

I'm done with calling people jews as an insult. I have nothing against most of the ethnic jews. A lot of things I consider jewish were also pushed by whites (especially Anglos and Germans). The real problem is the Abrahamic mindset. I will call it Abrahamic when I see it, rather than jewish. And I will call the adherents to the anti-human Abrahamic ideologies (inspired by the torah and bible) to be "Abrahamists". I will still say nigger because it is a very different concept and I've yet to see any black person who dosen't niggerfy things. That being said, a lot of anglos also niggerfy everything. Germans have a lesser tendency to niggerfy things, and are more likely to abrahamize it. Danish people niggerfy everything, as far as I can tell (Look at C++). Americans also have a strong tendency to niggerfy, due to our anglo ancestors, and a strong nigger population. The niggers in America are smarter than the African niggers. Niggerfication is a lesser sin than Abrahamification. Niggerism is the impulse towards excess and laziness. Abrahamism is the impulse towards self starvation and overwork. The former has self destruction as a side effect whereas the latter seeks it as a goal. Abrahamists are slaves to an ideology which goes against the flow, they live in a prison with no bars. Their tendency to overwork leads to an ever increasing complexity in any area they touch. They build a fanciful web to ensnare themselves and real progress grinds to a halt. Large houses are an abrahamic creation, A shelter should be somewhere to hide, not somewhere to live. People were made to live outside, houses are cushy prisons with no bars. Unless you live in a rural environment with lots of land, you can't go outside anymore. Cities and national forests have too many bullshit rules to be considered "outside". The laws in America make living outside a criminal offense for any non land owner. America turned into an Abrahamic shithole hell bent on attacking the human spirit, while promoting disgusting perversions (sex with old women, makeup, transgenderism, 12 EDO, Seinfeld, giant houses, etcetera) to pacify. The niggers fell for it. Abrahamics are using the dionsian nigger spirit to groom others into accepting their abrahamic perversions.

I got bored in my college classes so I decided to work on a problem I had and found out that the approach I was doing lead nowhere. I wanted to find the numerator of the sum for the nth harmonic number given that the denominator was n!. I figured out that the numerator was given by the recursive function f(n) = (if n = 1, return 1, else return n*f(n-1) + (n-1)!). I wanted to turn the recursive function into a sum and I found out that the recursive function was simply n!*(nth harmonic number). Which is no faster than just calculating the nth harmonic number. It's also very obvious given that I assumed the denominator is n!. How I found out the pattern
f(1) = 1!/1
f(2) = 2! + 1!
f(3) = 3(2! + 1!) + 2! = 3! + 3!/2 + 2!
f(4) = 4(3! + 3!/2 + 2!) + 3! = 4! + 4!/2 + 4!/3 + 3! = 4! + 4!/2 + 4!/3 + 3! = 4! + 4!/2 + 4!/3 + 3! = 4!/1 + 4!/2 + 4!/3 + 4!/4
f(n) = n! *(sum from x = 1 to n : 1/x ) (guess)
Proof by induction is easy. Base case: f(1) = 1 = 1!*1/1 = 1! (sum from x = 1 to 1 : 1/x) Recursive case. Given for some k, k >= 1 and f(k) = k!*(sum from x = 1 to k : 1/x ), prove f(k+1) = (k+1)!*(sum from x = 1 to k+1 : 1/x ).
f(k+1) = (k+1)f(k)+(k)!
= (k+1)k!*(sum from x = 1 to k : 1/x ) + (k)!
= (k+1)!*(sum from x = 1 to k : 1/x ) + (k+1)!/(k+1)
= (k+1)!*((sum from x = 1 to k : 1/x) + 1/k+1)
= (k+1)!*(sum from x = 1 to k+1 : 1/x)

The writers of J's documentation also decided to use linguistics terminologies to define all their notation elements. This is problematic since it leans into the anthropomorphic idea that programming notations are languages. They call functions "verbs", higher order functions "adverbs"/"conjunctions", constants and variables "nouns", assignment statements "copulas", and some other stuff "punctuation". J has the concept of "rank", which is quite interesting. J also allows for "function level programming" which is why I decided to check it out.

One thing I am wondering is "for any n, if you divide the nth prime number, by the n+1th prime number, is the quotient always be greater than 1/2". Intuitively I would have to say no, but after doing a tiny test, I'm not so sure anymore.

The ratio seems to be increasing. This tiny test means almost nothing though. Another related question I have is "if the above question is false, then if you have the nth prime number (for any n), can you alternate between multiplying and dividing it by each subsequent prime number until you get a number that's between 1/2 and 2." I'll explain the second question with square numbers instead of prime numbers Let's start at 4, 1. (1/2 < 4 < 2) is false, so we divide by 9 2. (1/2 < 4 < 2) 4/9 is false so we multiply by 16 3. (1/2 < 16*4/9 < 2) is false so we divide by 25 4. (1/2 < 16*4/9*25 ) is false so we multiply by 36 5. (1/2 < 16*4*36/9*25 ) is false so we multiply by 49 ... In the case of squares, I'm pretty sure this goes on forever because the ratio seems to get lower or higher over time. Specifically n+3th ratio is always lower than the n+1th, and the n+2th ratio is always higher than nth. I haven't proven this property, it just seemed to show up during my test. My question is about doing this same loop but with prime numbers instead of squares. A third question: for any natural number k, does there exist two prime numbers p and q, where k <= p < q, and p/q > 1/2. If the twin prime conjecture is true, then this question is true. A fourth question: for any rational numbers between 0 and 1, does there exist a ratio of 2 primes larger than that number but less than 1. I think if the twin prime conjecture is true, then this question is true as well.

The written word is unreadable. Sign language based on "exploding frame" dancing anime girl videos with an an "eyeball tracking user interface" should replace all written word. If I hear somebody speak, I instantly understand what they are saying, with text I have to decode meaningless symbols it into speech. Sign language has many of the same advantages as text without the decoding bullshit. Math symbols, and the alphabet are arbitrary jargon made up for the sole purpose of being easy to write. None of the symbols have anything to do with the sounds they make, or what they are. Logograms are so corrupted that they have nothing to do with what they are either. =============================================== Plain text The utility of plain text comes from social reasons rather than any natural advantage of the medium. I use plain text because there are tons of tools for it, but I'm not gonna say it's superior to other mediums simply because tons billions of man-hours have gone into making tools which make it usable. Programming language designers have a fetish for plain text. It would be better to represent code as a syntax tree and edit that directly.

I like it when I cum a lot during an orgasm. I don't see why people want to have large penises, but I do see why somebody would want to cum loads. It seems like some people want to cum loads for the wrong reason. The only reason a man should want to cum a lot is to improve their own orgasm experience (or fertility maybe), if they're worried about pleasing women or something that's retarded. I don't see why a woman would care about how much cum shoots out of your penis. The female evolved to have cum put into their vagina, they would never even see your semen during a true act of procreation. I found a study about this, but I haven't read it yet. I like the idea that a man should try to please a female in any sexual encounter. Sex should be a mutually enjoyable act, women don't exist to gratify men. If they both try to please each other, they will have a better experience. If cumming more improves fertility, then it's fine to do that too. I don't want to have kids so I don't care about fertility. Also if you want to emulate the porn actors who cum loads, you should realize that they use fake cum. I have never watched a "money shot" in a pornographic film, but I have read that they inject their penis with fake cum increase the load size. This fake shit this leads the average man feeling bad about their average abilities.

I remember reading about the Wickard v Filburn SHIT supreme court case, after looking into whether it would be legal to eat dog meat. I found out the federal government made it illegal to eat dogs, but I was wondering if the commerce clause would allow me to butcher and eat my own dog so long as I didn't participate in interstate commerce. Wickard v Filburn basically says that "interstate commerce" counts as anything that affects the economy, so I think the answer is no. I'm not a lawyer so I'm not 100% sure. > Summary of the situation > Federal government creates wheat quota > Farmer named Filburn breaks wheat quota to feed himself and his live stock > Filburn states the Federal government can't regulate his wheat production because the federal government can only regulate interstate commerce, and everything he did was done within the state of ohio. > Federal government says that if he didn't grow his own wheat, then he would have to buy it in the interstate market. The cumulative action of many farmers privately producing wheat instead of buying it from the open market affects the interstate market. Since Filburn's wheat production has an effect on the interstate market, it falls under interstate commerce, and they can regulate it. As a result: the federal government can regulate a farmer's private production of wheat, for his own consumption, under the "interstate commerce" clause of the constitution. I looked it up on youtube to see if other people were talking about it, and some retard named "Steve Lehto" completely mischaracterized Filburn's and SCOTUS' argument. I was gonna link to his video because he was critical of the case, but after watching it, he doesn't do a good summary of it so I'm not gonna link it. The US government is a perfect example of how design by committee leads to worthless crap. Every fucking law is designed by a committee, and the entire country was designed by a committee.

I am usually laughing the whole time I'm writing them, I have a lot of thoughts racing through my head when I write them, It's very fun.

Someone I know in real life wanted me to try the Microsoft Copilot bullshit generator (sometimes caled ai, based on ChatGPT-4), they gave me their phone to look at it, and It gave me misinformation. Just ask the nigger voodoo machine about stuff you know and it will eventually be wrong. I asked the nigger voodoo machine to give me the result of a non-computable function and it said it couldn't do that. This is a common misunderstanding of non computable functions, you can definitely get the result of certain non-computable functions, We have calculated some results of the busy beaver function (For instance BB(2,2) = 6). It also called the TREE function a non computable function, which is false. I was skimming wikipedia's article on ChatGPT, and Paul Graham is quoted praising it. Paul Garahm is a hype mongering blogger who gives wrong opinions almost everything. It makes sense that he loves ChatGPT. Paul Graham is the person behind Ycombinator. Ycombinator is an investment company which has "accelerated" a large number of shitty websites and immoral/failed buisnesses. Around 20% of the Internet's biggest AIDS spreaders (reddit, twitch, 9gag, quora, etc) came right out of Ycombinator's anus. The other "successful" businesses are anti social spyware cr...apps (doordash, coinbase, gigster, DoorDash, and rappi) and "educational" services (codeacademy, fullstack academy, and hacker rank). All of their educational services are tailor made to create another generation of coding bums. Recently they have pivoted to "accelerating" pseudointellectual blogs: 80,000 hours (effective altruism immorality) and Our World in Data (shit). Upsolve, one of their newer startups, is an app that's supposed to help people file for bankruptcy. This will get lots of business if Ycombinator keeps "accelerating" so many crap ideas. The monkeys behind Ycombinator accidentally accelerated some good and mediocre projects as well. Humble Bundle (Mediocre) had a slightly positive effect on computer gaming. I don't personally like Gitlab, but it is a positive to society for shifting free software development away from platforms that are hostile to free software fanatics (Github is barely usable after you block all proprietary javascript). I haven't used Diaspora but It seems like it is a good idea. "Women Who Code" sounds like a well intentioned non profit, but I'll have to read more about it before I can judge for sure. They also financed some robotics/biotech/semiconductor/quantumcomputer/plane companies, IDK if these are any good, I'm not knowledgeable about the fields so I can't say if they're any good. I also tried to ask copilot a trick question, but it didn't fall for it. My question was "what is the relationship between the natural logarithm and euler's constant". This was surprising to me, I thought it would fail. Donald Knuth also had a Q&A with ChatGPT, his Q&A was more informative than mine. The computer's response to 13th question he asked was one of the clearest indications that ChatGPT is a bullshit generator, with no real intelligence. https://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~knuth/chatGPT20.txt

The one I wrote doesn't have an app image, (you aren't missing much, the entirety of the program was the screen I just showed you). I'm guessing that the author[1] of tsukundere seems dosen't have an app image for her program because she used GNU guix as her operating system and app images don't work on the guix operating system (without a lot of fiddling), So I'm guessing she didn't make one either. IDK how to create app images but I might learn it if I end up making bigger projects, since they seem like a good way to distribute video games. I will always distribute source code either way. I might also switch to using renpy (even though I like scheme more than python) because It's easier to port and Tsukundere is hard to use. The rest of my post is about running my program in guix, (and installing guix) if you don't want to install guix (the package manager), then you can skip the rest of my post. ================================================ If you have guix (the package manager) installed, then you can do.

Installing the guix package manager on a foreign distro is unlikely to mess up your system. I've had it installed on a computer running Trisquel (which is based on Ubuntu) for at least a year and It's been fine. At one point after an upgrade, I couldn't log in to an X session but I figured out if I put
export XDG_DATA_DIRS="/usr/local/share:/usr/share/${XDG_DATA_DIRS:+:}$XDG_DATA_DIRS"
In my "~/.profile" file then I could login again (talked about it in >>WO6CM8WW), I haven't had any serious problems since. If you want to try installing it on a foreign distro, You can look at https://guix.gnu.org/manual/en/html_node/Binary-Installation.html. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Guix might also be useful (although it basically just tells you to do the binary install). I hate installing extra package managers on my system, so I understand if you don't want to install any. On my Guix SD computer, guix is my only package manager. On my Trisquel Desktop, I only have 3 package managers (apt (in ther by default), guix (for software that needs to be bleeding edge, and emacs configuration), and quicklisp). I haven't tried installing guix on any arch based system. Footnotes ========= [1] The author of Tsukundere was a member of the tranny brigade that removed the "fortune" program from guix's package archive and replaced it with an undocumented anus that shits out unfunny reddit quotes. I cringe every time someone calls Edsger Dijkstra a "software engineer". These people only know the man's name from textbooks and have read nothing he's actually written. (source https://web.archive.org/web/20110707133236/http://www.noop.nl/2008/03/why-i-would-nev.html) Imagine calling a man who says things like: > The second reason is that what society overwhelmingly asks for is snake oil. Of course, the snake oil has the most impressive names —otherwise you would be selling nothing— like "Structured Analysis and Design", "Software Engineering", "Maturity Models", "Management Information Systems", "Integrated Project Support Environments" "Object Orientation" and "Business Process Re-engineering" (the latter three being known as IPSE, OO and BPR, respectively). https://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/EWD/transcriptions/EWD11xx/EWD1175.html > The required techniques of effective reasoning are pretty formal, but as long as programming is done by people that don't master them, the software crisis will remain with us and will be considered an incurable disease. And you know what incurable diseases do: they invite the quacks and charlatans in, who in this case take the form of Software Engineering gurus. https://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/EWD/transcriptions/EWD13xx/EWD1305.html > Another series of stones in the form of "programming tools" is produced under the banner of "software engineering", which, as time went by, has sought to replace intellectual discipline by management discipline to the extent that it has now accepted as its charter "How to program if you cannot." https://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/EWD/transcriptions/EWD08xx/EWD898.html > By claiming that they can contribute to software engineering, the soft scientists make themselves even more ridiculous. (Not less dangerous, alas!) In spite of its name, software engineering requires (cruelly) hard science for its support. https://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/EWD/transcriptions/EWD04xx/EWD498.html Note: if you read agile (or most other software engineering) CRAP, it's 100% "soft science". I can't judge the author of the screencap in this respect because I've only read one of his articles. I'm bored with quoting software engineering stuff. Here's some other interesting quotes I found after looking for the quotes > Since then we have had elixirs in a countless variety of tastes and colours. I have fond memories of a project of the early 70's that postulated that we did not need programs at all! All we needed was "intelligence amplification". If they have been able to design something that could "amplify" at all, they have probably discovered it would amplify stupidity as well; in any case I have not heard from it since. > Yes, I share your concern: how to program well —though a teachable topic— is hardly taught. The situation is similar to that in mathematics, where the explicit curriculum is confined to mathematical results; how to do mathematics is something the student must absorb by osmosis, so to speak. One reason for preferring symbol-manipulating, calculating arguments is that their design is much better teachable than the design of verbal/pictorial arguments. Large-scale introduction of courses on such calculational methodology, however, would encounter unsurmountable political problems.

If conversion therapy doesn't work, how is paedophilia and other paraphilias cured? How is it supposedly impossible to treat LGBT people (who want to be treated ofc) but not other sexual interests (not saying all sexual interests are morally equivalent)?

>>OJVX4QQZ > If conversion therapy doesn't work, how is paedophilia and other paraphilias cured? I decided to look into this and from what I've read, it seems there aren't any good studies on making a paraphilic person normophilic. Most of the studies I've found focused on using therapy to decrease recidivism, rather than looking at using it to change their sexual preferences. That is to say the studies focus on sexual behavior, rather than sexual preferences. So they don't help answer your question. A lot of the material I read would mention in passing that some techniques focused on increasing sexual normal attraction and decreasing deviant sexual attraction, but they never talk about how effective they were. The best paper I could find was one in 1991 that looked at all the studies on "Masturbatory Reconditioning". Mastrubatory Reconditioning procedures involve trying to change a person's sexual preferences by giving them things to do while they are masturbating. For instance a technique mentioned in the study stated that there was much enthusiasm for for these techniques but there was very little empirical data supporting its efficacy. Most of the studies mentioned in the paper had sample sizes of 1 to 2 people, so they weren't any good. The paper concluded that the studies they reviewed had promising results but they were mostly poor quality, so there wasn't enough evidence to make any conclusion on whether Mastrubatory Reconditioning could get rid of people's paraphilias (Marshal and Laws, 1991). I couldn't find any more recent paper on the efficacy of techniques to make somebody normophilic. I'm sure they exist, but the vast majority treatment strategies focus on stopping undesired sexual behavior, rather than changing someone's sexual preferences. As an example of something that focuses on sexual behavior: I read a book chapter dedicated to the treatment of paraphilias and it said that people usually use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and medical treatment to decrease the risk of people with dangerous paraphilias re-offending. Medication (for the most part) decreases all sexual thoughts, rather than replacing them with normal sexual thoughts. The book mentions that there have been a couple of instances where certain combinations of medicine lead to somebody developing self reported normophilic sexual interests. The studies were case studies (meaning that there was only one person), so I can't give those much weight. The CBT techniques mentioned either focused on the patient not want to offend, or changing their sexual preferences. It didn't distinguish between these two goals, nor did it describe them in detail. It also mentioned some other theraputic treatments but it didn't seem like any of them focused on changing sexual preferences. (It was chapter 4 of https://books.google.com/books?id=PczDDQAAQBAJ&dq). The DSM-5 distinguishes between paraphilias and paraphlic disorders, a paraphilia is an abnormal sexual attraction whereas a paraphilic disorder is a paraphilia that either causes the one with the paraphilia personal distress, or dysfunction, or leads the person to harm himself or others (DSM-5 p.685). Most paraphilias mentioned in the DSM-5 are stated to have an unknown timeline of persistence, (e.g. "The persistence of voyeurism over time is unclear." (DSM-5 p. 688)), or are stated to be lifelong (e.g. "Pedophilia per se appears to be a lifelong condition." (DSM-5 p. 699)). The DSM-5 also mentions that paraphilic disorders improve or get worse overtime (e.g. "Whereas sexual sadism per se is probably a lifelong characteristic, sexual sadism disorder may fluctuate according to the individual's subjective distress or his or her propensity to harm nonconsenting others." (DSM-5 p.697)). I would say that the answer to your question(from what I've read) is that we don't have enough evidence to conclude that paraphilias can be cured, and the treatment of paraphilic disorders usually focuses on making sure the person with the paraphilia doesn't re-offend (in the case of dangerous paraphilias), or decreasing the personal distress caused by the paraphilia (in the case of non dangerous paraphilias), rather than removing the paraphilia. >>NK6EZ0GV This is the first paper that I've found that states with confidence that can remove a pedophiles' sexual attraction to children. It also states that using modern techniques to change a homosexual's sexual orientation is an open question. > Attempts to change sexual orientation (which was restricted to attempts to change homosexual men into heterosexuals) all but ceased in most Western countries sometime in the 1960 and 1970s, partly because such attempts were usually unsuccessful, at least with exclusive homosexuals [12]. With changes in society’s attitudes toward homosexuality, most clinicians nowadays refuse to try to modify sexual orientation. Given that treatment approaches have radically changed since the 1970s, it remains a somewhat open question as to whether or not sexual orientation is modifiable. However, whatever the answer is to this question, the fact remains that attempts to change homosexuals into heterosexuals are largely driven by prejudicial, and unfounded, attitudes about sexual orientation that have no place in clinical practice. I need to read more, but I am open to the idea that you could change a person's sexual orientation with modern techniques. He states that there are biological markers for homosexuality, whereas we have found no markers for pedophilia. So it could be that sexual orientations are different than sexual preferences.

>>WZX19DVR > The most popular form of cognitive behavioral therapy currently used with sex offenders is the relapse prevention approach, originally adapted from the addictions field (McGrath et al. 2003). The relapse prevention approach involves (a) identifying situations in which the individual is at high risk for reoffending; (b) identifying lapses, that is, behaviors that do not constitute full-fledged relapses but that may be a precursor to a relapse (e.g., masturbating to sexual fantasies about sex with a child); (c) developing strategies for avoiding high-risk situations such as spending time alone with a child; (d ) developing coping strategies that can be used in high-risk situations that cannot be avoided; and (e) responding effectively to lapses that do occur. > Across the following interventions, the under lying assumption is that pedophilia is a stable sexual preference that is unlikely to change, just as there is little, if any, evidence that heterosexual or homosexual orientation can be changed. Recent etiological research on neurodevelopmental correlates of pedophilia—including cognitive functioning, non-right-handedness, and structural volume differences—suggests that pedophilia is influenced by prenatal factors and thus is unlikely to respond to interventions delivered when the individual is an adult (e.g., Cantor et al. 2008). Instead, the goals of treatment are to reduce pedophilic sexual arousal or increase the person’s ability to manage sexual urges and arousal and refrain from acting upon sexual interest in children. (published in 2009) doi:10.1146/annurev.clinpsy.032408.153618 I only skimmed this paper, so I may be missing something. For the most part, I think that pedophilia is treated like this. Most people don't believe it can be cured (and as far as I can tell, there isn't very strong evidence that is can be cured). If it can't be cured, then the answer to > If conversion therapy doesn't work, how is paedophilia and other paraphilias cured? is that they are not. They focus on behavior rather than attraction. I'm done blogging about this for now, since I can't say anything new. I'm probably gonna look for papers by William L. Marshall since seems to be claiming that he can cure pedophilia, and look into the articles the Pedophilia and Paraphila wikipedia articles cite next. Seto, Michael C is another name that keeps appearing in other articles citations, so I may look at that person's papers too. I also need more time to mull it over in my head, write notes, read some papers I skimmed fully, and read some interesting studies before I can come to a conclusion.

It is so fucking stupid that numbers don't accept thousands separators in some programming languages. It makes them so much easier to read. Compare 299,792,458 with 299792458 There are a couple languages I know about that allow decimal separators In perl, go, java, and python you can do
1_000_000
to get 1000000 In C++ you can do
1'000'000
to get 1000000 perl and C++ are niggerlangs in general but at least big numbers are readable them. You should be able to put the seperators wherever you want as well 1_0000_0000 should parse.
>>
Anonymous 03/18/24(Mon)00:49:47 No. SVUHS0FB
>>O3VKM5YA I don't see why any of those languages can't just use whitespace as an arbitrary separator either. 1 000 000 = 1000000 If your language uses spaces to separate arguments, this clearly isn't an option but all the languages I mentioned use commas as separators so there's no problem.
>>
Anonymous 03/18/24(Mon)04:27:40 No. IIJ6PY3E
>>SVUHS0FB I thought of a nigger way of inserting numbers with thousands separators in languages without it as a feature. You could create a function called "number" (or something similar) that takes multiple arguments and constructs the number. EG number(1,000,000) == 1000000. This is an extremely niggerlicious way to do it, but it does work. For instance in scheme
  (define (number . numbers)
    (let loop ((len (length numbers))
	       (accum 0)
	       (arguments numbers))
      (if (= len 0)
	  accum
	  (let ((number (car arguments))
		(newlen (1- len)))
	    (loop newlen
		  (+ accum (* number (expt 1000 newlen)))
		  (cdr arguments))))))
would do it. Then you would just call
(number 1 000 000)
to get your thousands separators. This always assumes 3 digits per argument. You might be able to get rid of this assumption if you used a macro, but I am too lazy to do that for now.

> IBM did not like the popularity of my text; it stole the term "Structured Programming" and under its auspices Harlan D. Mills trivialized the original concept to the abolishment of the goto statement. This has happened so many times in the history of computer science. I call such bastardizations of jargons to be "Degenerate Definitions". But I'm sure there's another word for this phenomenon. To quote some of my personal notes: ============ A degenerate definition is a definition that supplants the original definition of a word, and extinguishes the word's original meaning. Degenerate Definitions are often the created as the result of ignorance, or deception. In the case of ignorance, people misunderstand the original idea, and create a bastardized version of it using the same word. In the first kind of deception, people use the term to make their own activities seem more credible. In the second kind of deception, people push an alternative definition of the word to hide the original idea the word described. A definition is only degenerate if it obscures the original idea to the point where it's barely thought of at all. =================

The srfi naming is so stupid. They should use a name that signifies what the library is about rather forcing you to specify it by the number. In guile you have to do:
(use-modules (srfi srfi-1))
In chicken it is
(require-extension srfi-14)
Which tells you nothing about what the library does. It should be
(use-modules (srfi lists))
instead. C also as similar problems because and names all of its standard libraries with fucked up abbreviations. you only ever have to import a library once per file so there's no reason it should have to be so short.
#include <stdio.h>
is bad it should be this instead
#include <standard_io.h>
Scheme's srfi's are the most fucked up though because they say nothing at all whereas most languages just to have a shitty abbreviation as the name of their library, which gives you a hint on what it's about, whereas the srfi's say nothing. Unix is fucked like this in general, Most of the processes running on a unix system are abbreviations even when there's no practical reason for it. The kernel processes are never invoked by the user so they could have long names, but they decided to abbreviate most of them for no reason. Most unix utilities have short names because they are easy to type but there's no reason a process the user almost never types shouldn't have a descriptive name. Some examples I can find from ps -e are... > ksmd > hwrng > kworker/R-md > irq/24-pciehp > jbd2/dm-0-8 > kworker/R-cfg80

For 20 - 5 - 6 she reads it as 20 - ( 5 - 6) -> 20 + 1 = 21 With 18 - 9 - 8 she does 18 - ( 9 - 8) = 17. Idk how she got the one that starts with 19.

It's crazy that some people don't have internal monologues. It's also crazy that people are unable to imagine 100% realistic images of things in their head (aphantasia is the most extreme).

>>3SAV1RFR I haven't read about herbs or pharmacology. My guess is that lot of herbs probably do nothing other than placebo. Pharmaceutical companies study herbs for medicine all the time and some herbs have known medical efficacy (example: https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/st-johns-wort). https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/herbsataglance is a good page to look at. I've heard that some herbs only alleviate pain, and don't actually help cure the ailment. I'm pretty sure your body only develops resistances to certain things, rather than developing a resistance to everything (IE, a cocaine addict is resistant to cocaine, but he'll respond the same way to heroin as a non-cocaine addict). If that's the case then it probably wouldn't matter whether or not you are used to high concentrations of medicine as long as they didn't have a similar mechanism of action. I'm not 100% about people not developing general resistances to all medicine though. In some cases the herbal supplement companies spike their herbs with actual medicine https://www.bbc.com/news/health-34798438, so in those cases, it's pretty obvious why they'd have good testimonials. You are right about animals being reused as far as I can tell. This study https://sci-hub.st/10.1038/laban1006-49 talks about some problems with animal reuse, and how most companies do it. It states that most of the researchers that responded to their survey reuse animals, most of them stated that they tried to avoid giving animals medicine with similar methods of action if they had already taken that medicine. Around half of the companies that responded said that they put their animals on a 2-4 week long wash out period. https://www.sdcindia.ac.in/document/docsafe/202204081012439688.pdf stated that it's a bad idea to reuse animals for Oral glucose tolerance test treatments (I only skimmed the article but it seems like they did the same test over and over again, rather than doing different tests). https://www.nature.com/articles/448106a states most researchers look for single compounds to cure diseases, while some Traditional Chinese medicine advocates argue that the interactions between different ingredients may be necessary. People will do tons of extremely unhealthy stuff and still believe it's good for them (eg, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_Mineral_Supplement), so I find it hard to believe anyone's anecdotes about their health treatments. I know very little about pharmacology so take my opinions with a pillar of salt.

I hate "da Jooos" nonsense. Especially when fascists and neo-Nazis do it. It's totally hypocritical. Wiggers can be as bloodthirsty and oppressive as they want, but as soon as a Jew has the chutzpah to spend money on what they want rather than what they don't want¹ (i.e. what literally everyone does), antisemites wail and gnash their teeth. Why is might right in one circumstance but not the other? [1] I'm thinking of the advertisers who withdrew from X after Elon did his thing. I have heard they were Jewish but I don't actually know. At any rate, the alt-right believe they were.

I feel like it's valid to criticize someone for spending their money if it has a large negative impact on society. I don't have any problem with people not buying twitter ads, but there are other times when a rich person can cause lots of damage with how they use their wealth (like Disney lobbying for copyright extensions). The larger problem is that there are a bunch of ultra wealthy people who have too much influence on society.

I am using 9^n as repetition rather than exponentiation. | as concatentation. For instance, 9^2 = 99. 9|3 = 93. 9^2|3^2 = 9933. I think this rule holds for all natural numbers n greater than or equal to 1. 9^n * 9^n = 9^(n-1)|8|0^(n-1)|1 For instance
9*9 = 9^0|8|9^0|1 = 81
99*99 = 9^1|8|0^1|1 = 9801
999*999 = 9^2|8|0^2|1 = 998001
999 999 999 999 * 999 999 999 999 = 9^12*9^12 = 9^11|8|0^11|1 = 9 99999 99999 8 0 00000 00000 1

Aura Lea, Aura Lea, Maid of golden hair; Sunshine came along with thee, And swallows in the air. Chorus: Aura Lea, Aura Lea, Maid of golden hair; Sunshine came along with thee, And swallows in the air. In thy blush the rose was born, Music, when you spake, Through thine azure eye the morn, Sparkling seemed to break. Aura Lea, Aura Lea, Birds of crimson wing, Never song have sung to me, As in that sweet spring. (Chorus) Aura Lea! the bird may flee, The willow's golden hair Swing through winter fitfully, On the stormy air. Yet if thy blue eyes I see, Gloom will soon depart; For to me, sweet Aura Lea Is sunshine through the heart. (Chorus) When the mistletoe was green, Midst the winter's snows, Sunshine in thy face was seen, Kissing lips of rose. Aura Lea, Aura Lea, Take my golden ring; Love and light return with thee, And swallows with the spring. (Chorus)

Ugh I was reading about different musical notations and there have been a lot of different musical notations, probably more than I can count. People still try introducing the moronic piano roll notations even though anyone who's ever played a musical instrument can immediately tell how retarded they are. These people have the gall to consider it a new idea or market it as a revolutionary musical reform. A lot of the alternate notations work pretty well for most cases, or when the songs are simple. Shape note musical notations work fairly well if you never modulate the key. the Galin-Paris-Chevé (and its successor Jianpu) system works well if you don't have many simultaneous notes, and you aren't modulating the key frequently. Parsons code is a brilliant way to index music for easy retrieval (although it can't describe music because it's not made for that). It made me happy to learn about it.

A Vtuber just has to be a person who inhabits a digital cartoon avatar and makes videos of them selves recorded in that avatar. > Pewdiepie is bigger than her Pewdiepie only made a couple of videos as a vtuber and he stopped doing it. He would be the biggest former vtuber channel, but he's not a vtuber anymore. CookieswirlC completely mogs every other vtuber I know about in terms of follower count. https://yewtu.be/watch?v=RKEQIFswQa4 All of the people in the comments are saying she isn't based anymore because she's not an elon musk fan even though Elon musk is a faggot, and she is correct in not liking him. Tesla cars are nonfree crap. Elon musk might have started the trend of making "smart" cars, which are a huge problem when it comes to software freedom. IDK what I'm gonna do when my car breaks down, because I don't want to buy a car with a non-free operating system in it, I might just have to use a motorcycle/bicycle, or just keep buying old cars. Eventually I feel like I will run out of old cars that I can buy (they can't be old smart cars), and I'll only be able to ride my bicycle around. I know most cars have nonfree software in them, but the older cars were basically impossible to update, so it wasn't a social problem. The fact that the new smart cars can get updated, download apps, and other stuff makes them a threat to software freedom. Neuralink could also become a problem if it becomes successful. I depends greatly on how they treat their hardware, if they release the software that run the devices as free software, and don't make the hardware malicious, then they would be great. My brother has type 1 diabetes, and a lot of the insulin pumps (including his) are operated with non-free apps, IDK what I would do if I got type 1 diabetes. I don't really care about SpaceX either way. IDK why people like space so much. The Boring Company, and Hyperloop seem like scams. I don't like bill gates either. Bill gates is arguably worse because he created the highly successful nonfree operating system. Bill gates is actively fucking tons of other shit up (like the US education system, covid vaccines, aids medicine, farming, global warming efforts, etcetera ). > How Bill Gates Impeded Global Access to Covid Vaccines > When the director of Oxford’s Jenner Institute had funny ideas about placing the rights to its COVAX-supported vaccine candidate in the public domain, Gates intervened. As reported by Kaiser Health News, “A few weeks later, Oxford—urged on by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—reversed course [and] signed an exclusive vaccine deal with AstraZeneca that gave the pharmaceutical giant sole rights and no guarantee of low prices.” https://newrepublic.com/article/162000/bill-gates-impeded-global-access-covid-vaccines The computer history in the video incorrect as far as I can tell.

>>JKJW4TZZ > Males are attracted to females through pheromones and they induce females to mate through vibrations, to which the female responds by assuming a specific position. When a male who has copulated with a female sees another male trying to court her, he will often adopt the female receptive position. These wasps literally act as "traps" after they are done mating so that other wasps won't mate with the girl they boned. Imagine if people tried to trap other men into having sex with them to avoid getting cucked.

>>
Anonymous 05/01/24(Wed)04:06:09 No. VKDI6QM0
>>T8PVJHUH From a purely definitional standpoint, cross dressers do practice sexual mimicry, but I can't think of any strong biological reasons for them doing it. Trans women become infertile, so they are biological dead ends. It could be the case that people with gender dysphoria would still have children in the past, but they are maladapted to modern society (since they sterilize themselves to look more feminine). Trans men would have a hard time finding a mate, and usually become infertile as well. Some people did sexual mimicry to avoid violence. Some men would cross dress to avoid the draft. Some species of bird make themselves look like a female to avoid being attacked by other males. Both of these were instances of sexual mimicry to avoid violence. This would be a valid reproductive strategy, especially if the man had sex while he was draft dodging. A lot of transphobic canards posit sexual mimicry in one way or another. For instance, some transphobes will say that transgender people want to access a woman's restroom to rape them, this would be analogous to "sneaky copulation", although I don't think it's very common that this is actually done. I'm sure some males have tried sneaking into harems by cross dressing to have sex in the past. Some feminization ero-manga show sexual mimicry for mate guarding, where a submissive male (that looks like a girl) offers himself as a sexual replacement for his girlfriend. I'm pretty sure this doesn't happen in real life. If I were to give an evolutionary explanation would guess it's like autism, where having some autistic genes is a good thing, but having too many is a bad thing. A man that is somewhat feminine might be better at caring for his children, or attracting mates, than one that is extremely masculine. A tomboy might be a better hunter gatherer for her tribe than an ultra feminine woman, so may have been more useful in the past to have more masculine women.

This heightened the excitement and became so closely associated with the sight of open windows that gradually he began to experience sexual excitement and even an erection at the mere sight of an open window at the place he planned to burglarize. Going through the window he often ejaculated. When ejaculation occurred inside the room, it was often accompanied or preceded by defecation and/or urination. It is believed that the emptying of bowel and bladder was due to an overflow of spinal reflex. He either left the products of defecation or urination in the room or found them later in his own clothes. After an emission, he left the entered house without taking anything.
