>>fprog-FSBDL1EA i have already started learning beforehand for some smaller stuff, thank you>>fprog-ZOBBVVPF i have already heard of go especially as a dependency, i didn't know that it was a viable language to make a career, will look into it

>>fprog-4YP1X037 (OP) C isn't the most wanted but I highly doubt that demand for it is going to disappear until at least a few decades

>>fprog-4YP1X037 (OP) I tink you should look on Indeed and Linkedin for the jobs you have in yout area, the most wanted languages might change from place to place

>>fprog-4YP1X037 (OP) Java. Really.

>>
Anonymous 02/08/22(Tue)19:33:54 No. EIJY0VUK
>>fprog-U0FGOK1L that is lucky since this is the language we learnt in school. >>fprog-4F47JIT6 a colleague told me to get linkedin, which i did but never touch beyond creating an account. is it really that good that everyone has to shill for it? >>fprog-IJG3ON1H well that is the problem nobody wants to hire me because i need at least 5 years of expertise to get a job in any corporation.

>>fprog-4YP1X037 (OP) C/C++; true timeless legacy PYTHON 3; spiritual sucessor to BASIC VULKAN Graphics programing ASSEMBLY; X86, 6502, Z80; if your a glutton for punishment. Its not a language you should learn its the principal. As for looking for a job, just get something working first.

>>fprog-8YY71KC4 >VULKAN NO!! Learn DX12 or Metal first. DX12 gets every extension first, and Metal is a lot easier to learn because it targets less hardware. Vulkan is a bitch to use because it's design by committee based on an AMD product. "AMD has great driver engineers" -Nobody Ever. >8bit MCU ASSembly in 2022 >when OP asked about in demand languages Heh.

>>fprog-7QLLRF5V shut the fuck up faggot, dx12 only works on windows and metal is nothing. vulkan and opengl are pretty much what you need
>>

>>fprog-VOEM9ROT CUDA is worth learning too despite locking you to Nvidia products, a lot of the DSP and ML software running in datacenters still use it commonly. not a fan of propitiatory APIs, but it is still a thing

>>fprog-L53KSM6V → Congrats OP. I hope you like your job and coworkers. What industry? I just got a coding job in the WebDev mines with Microsoft Java.

>>fprog-00PXXFM2 I have never encountered any of those IRL (jobs) in the last decade, but will admit different fields are different. I have only ever seen IRL: Java Python Go C C++ SQL Javascript A lot of those are rightly considered horrible, but I feel like those are still the most universal, so you would want to know them for employment.
