There should be a better way of muting things you don't want to see. Currently we can only mute individual posts, not entire threads. It would also be great if muting was persistent across Tor Browser sessions as well. I have sometimes thought it would be cool if there was a specialised protocol for forums and imageboards that you could connect to via clients. If there was, you wouldn't need to save settings and data like that in cookies that could be read by the server and potentially used to deanonymise you. There could be a web interface as well for people who don't want to use the protocol.

Lets assume that we don't have any parallel universes, that means our universe can only have 1 perpendicular universe, because otherwise you would make a square (or a third of a square), and the square would have parallel lines. This is assuming the multiverse is non-euclidian, which is true, because our eyes are non-euclidian.

I don't like "Gushing over Magical Girls" because it focuses too much on sadism and not enough on masochism. I still try to project into the characters being tortured though.

The vision of escaflowne was my favorite Isekai anime. Reasons why it was different than most isekai - The isekai isn't like a video game - The main character is a normal person (not a nerd/gamer). - The main character has worries, fears, and limitations, that are expressed throughout the show. - It doesn't rely on a lot of isekai tropes. - The main character isn't insanely overpowered. - The world is well fleshed out everything they do makes a lot of sense. There are multiple countries, that are all unique and have ties with each other. - The main character is simply a person in the world, rather than the most important person in the world. Many people they come upon in the story have their own goals, and don't exist solely to help the hero. - The anime has lots of good action, interesting conflicts, conspiracies, epic battles, interesting villians, mysteries. - The story is fast paced, has a beginning, middle, and end. - The story has interesting themes about violence, predestination, destiny, fate, sacrifice, trust, science, and love. - The anime borrows a lot from other genres, including fantasy, psychological, romance, and mecha. The main criticism I have is that there is a bunch of bullshit (characters getting teleported around, a solution to their problems appearing from nowhere). And the main characters are shoujo anime stereotypes (Pretty and Nobel blonde guy, edgy dark haired guy, animal girl side kick, brown haired average looking protagonist).

Is this is a superior altchan technology to fchan? Bitmessage sounds cooler than ActivityPub. Full decentralization is preferable to federated cuck.

the darknet needs onion routing to be implemented on hyphanet opennet so fms with web of trust can finally be safer people get strange about possibly storing parts of encrypted cheese pizza in their data caches with onion routing that becomes a pointless problem hyphanet fms with web of trust has always been a maximum final solution as the last imageboard on the internet imo look it up k

>>fg-ZM8W6RM1 >people get strange about possibly storing parts of encrypted cheese pizza in their data caches Exactly what I think. But Ian Clarke doesn't seem to care for some reason and refuses to implement contract blocking into Freenet. Wants his "reputation system" to solve it for everyone collectively instead of letting people individually make the determination to host what they want. Fucking stupid.

File: media_GLG0bmjbgAAAD0B.jpg (77.41 KiB) [Draw]
I made fun of someone in high school, and didn't say anything about the bullying of another. I feel bad for it now. One of them was an autistic kid who would always have a panic attack in math class over it being to hard. It would interrupt the whole entire class. He would always scream about how "the rules keep changing", one day I said something mean (I don't remember what), and he took off his shoe and threatened to throw it at me. I also ignored him if he tried being friendly with me (he really liked Nintendo games and he knew I liked them too), because I didn't want to be seen as weird by association. I also made fun of him behind his back a bit (mainly talking about his freak outs, never spreading lies or rumors). I also found an undertale fan fiction he wrote (from googling his name), but I never made that public, it was just something I kept to myself. I'm pretty sure the other kid was a meth baby, he was slightly screwed up (mild intellectual disability, short, and looked weird). He really liked annoying people in middle school, so he became a punching bag. I don't remember doing anything bad to him, but I remember my friends would bully him and I wouldn't say anything about it. The biggest instance was when he tried to sit with my friend group at the lunch table (we didn't ask him, but he wanted to anyways) and one of my friends yanked the chair out from under him and threw his backpack away. My friend did that because he didn't want us to get bullied by association with him. He was bullied a lot harder by other groups of people, but my friend group didn't have anything to do with that. One of my acquaintances did something really mean to him (he created a fake love letter posing as a girl he knew he liked), I remember him bragging about it, and I didn't think it was funny, but I didn't say anything. I'd also listen to when people talked about bullying him, and sometimes it was kind of funny, but I should have said that they should stop. Other than the one comment I made to the autistic kid, I don't recall ever going out of my way to bully people. I mainly talked about people behind their backs (never spreading rumors, only complaining about their freak outs). If I could go back in time, I wish I was brave enough to befriend them, or at least tell the people I knew that bullying them was wrong. Especially the autistic kid, because we had similar interests.

>>fb-JB5YIRQA I made fun of some people before school when I was in a "home-ed group". One was a violin player and I said his playing sounded "screechy". But IIRC I wasn't trying to be mean to him at first, I was just being brutally honest. Possibly later it started to be funny to me. The other I made fun of for being short. I have apologised to them now. I also remember chasing people and being chased. In school, I and my friend group were the ones getting bullied. I guess that's karma or something.

>>fb-XUMWA1CF I also made fun of my friends in school but it was done in good spirits. They'd also make fun of me. We had tough skin so it didn't hurt us. I remember we kept calling my friend this one name he really hated until he eventually started gut punching us whenever we called him that, after that we stopped. To me, there's a huge difference between insulting someone you know and love, with something you know they can defend against, vs insulting someone you hate to hurt or embarrass them, or insulting someone who can't/won't fight back.

Tripcodes Anonymous 07/22/23(Sat)23:08:28 No. fg-3UQ5XP37  [Reply]
Why haven't tripcodes been updated since the early days of imageboards? Insecure tripcodes are, as the name suggests, insecure and secure tripcodes don't work cross-site (which is essential for a federated network like this one is supposed to be). I propose using public-private keypairs as tripcodes. You can do this already by pasting the output of GPG into the post field, but it would be more convenient if a browser extension or client-side JS did everything automatically.
